SPIRE Representation and Participation

SPIRE is coordinated by a small, but representative, group of Spitalfields residents and volunteers.

Monthly meetings are held to review new license applications and discuss other business which falls within the remit of discouraging anti-social behaviour in Spitalfields through the effective review and management of licenses.

Individual members of the committee often represent SPIRE objections, in-person, at licensing meetings with the LBTH.

While individual SPIRE committee members are accessible to speak with residents of Spitalfields about particular concerns and/or potential business proprietors who may wish to submit applications for alcohol license(s), it is requested that all initial enquiries be directed to SPIRESpitalfields@gmail.com.
